New Project and Xmas in July

I have started on this cute project designed by Dawn Hay and it came with a kit to finish it,it is one of our LGS patterns.

I was also lucky to win this gorgeous parcel of goodies from the lovely Wendy for being a FNSI winner, thankyou Wendy this will be perfect for my GD.

I am trying very hard not to have chocolate and other bad snacks at home so i have been going through my recipes and found this,so if i am wanting something sweet i just nibble on one of these, they are high in protein and nothing bad in them and they are so quick to make, even hubby likes them, recipe below.

Dont forget to signup for Chez's Xmas in July ,this is always a fun swap, thankyou Chez for hosting it again,i have signed up and if you would like to go here.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

Life only comes around once,so do what makes you happy and be around people that make you smile.
Cheers Shez xx

  5. Great new projects Shez and well done on the win. That recipe sounds wonderful, will give it a try. I make one with ground up figs, dates, dried apricots, macadamia nuts, sultanas and coconut, they are yum.

  7. Nice Prize that you will have fun with. It's always nice to win, especially to win what you love. Your quote of the day speaks to me today. Terry and I were just having a discussion yesterday about this very thought.

Have a great weekend. Sunday is Mother's Day here.
